Transparent PVC tarpaulin based on 300D x 300D polyester scrim with 9 x 9 yarn count. Crystal clear optical properties combined with PVC formulation for case bag windows, inspection panels, and see-through enclosures. Weight range 280 to 350 grams per square meter allows selection between lighter flexible films and heavier abrasion-resistant grades. The base fabric provides tear strength while the clear PVC compound maintains transparency above 85% light transmission for unpackaged visibility. Suitable for bag manufacturing where product visibility is required without opening the case.

Fabrication & Seaming

Welding methods

High-frequency welding produces clear seams without discoloration. Hot air welding with PVC strip reinforcement also suitable. Recommended weld temperature: 450°C - 520°C for 2-3 seconds depending on thickness.

Stitching guidelines

Use UV-stabilized polyester thread size V69 or V92. Needle size 18-22 with medium ball point to prevent film tearing. Stitch density: 4-6 stitches per cm for seam strength.

Printing & marking

Screen printing with PVC-based transparent inks. Reverse printing for protected graphics. Digital printing possible with pretreatment. For direct marking use solvent-resistant markers test on sample first.

Technical Q&A

Does the transparent tarpaulin yellow over time?
PVC clarity retention depends on UV stabilizer package. Standard formulation provides 12-18 months outdoor use before minor yellowing. For extended outdoor use specify UV-stabilized clear grade (add 5-7% to unit price).
Can anti-fog properties be added?
Anti-fog surface treatment available for interior-facing applications such as camera case windows or medical bags where condensation occurs. Specify anti-fog additive during order. Minimum quantity applies.
How to clean and maintain transparent sections?
Clean with mild soap and soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, ammonia-based products, and brushes that cause micro-scratches. Store rolled material on core in cool dry area away from direct UV exposure.
What is the visible light transmission percentage?
Clear grade transmits 85-90% visible light at 300GSM thickness. Lower thickness transmits higher percentage. Material has slight matte surface to reduce glare while maintaining see-through function.

Color customization: OEM color matching available for tinted transparent films (blue, smoke, amber, green). Standard lead time for color development: 5-7 working days. Minimum order quantity for custom transparent colors: contact commercial department. Samples of clear grade provided within 3 working days for quality approval. Production rolls wrapped with protective PE film to prevent surface scratching during transit.
