Waterproof PVC Coated Tent Fabric
Waterproof PVC coated tent fabric is a high-performance material engineered for maximum water resistance in demanding outdoor applications. The fabric features a high-tenacity polyester scrim with a thick, continuous PVC coating that creates an impermeable barrier against moisture penetration. Available in thicknesses from 0.6 mm to 1.8 mm, the fabric offers tensile strengths up to 500 N/50mm and hydrostatic resistance exceeding 2.5 meters of water head. The coating system includes a PVDF topcoat for self-cleaning properties and is formulated with plasticizers and stabilizers that maintain flexibility and waterproofing integrity across a wide temperature range. Designed for tents, canopies, and outdoor covers requiring reliable protection from rain, snow, and moisture.

Waterproofing Specifications
Waterproof Applications
Waterproofing Advantages
Complete Moisture Protection
Continuous PVC coating with welded seams creates an impermeable barrier that prevents water ingress in all weather conditions.
Condensation Control
Low vapor transmission rate (0.1 perms) minimizes condensation buildup inside tents, keeping interiors dry and comfortable.
Long-Term Waterproofing
UV-stabilized coating ensures waterproofing integrity remains effective throughout the fabric's service life without degradation.
Quick Drying
Hydrophobic surface repels water, enabling rapid drying after rainfall and preventing water absorption that adds weight.
Temperature Stability
Coating remains flexible and waterproof from -30°C to +70°C, ensuring performance in extreme climates.
Seam Integrity
Hot-air welded seams provide watertight joints that match or exceed the base fabric's waterproofing performance.
