Tensile Membrane Roofing Material PVC
Tensile membrane roofing material PVC is a flexible, fabric-reinforced architectural membrane designed for tensioned structures. The material consists of a high-tenacity polyester (PET) or fiberglass scrim, coated on both sides with a PVC compound formulated for weatherability, flame retardance, and weldability. The coating includes plasticizers, stabilizers, biocides, and UV absorbers. The membrane exhibits tensile strength between 250 and 500 N/50mm (depending on scrim weight), tear propagation resistance above 150 N, and adhesion between coating and scrim exceeding 50 N/50mm. The material meets EN 14716 and ASTM D4850 standards for tensile structures. Surface finishes include PVDF or acrylic topcoats for enhanced self-cleaning properties.
