Yes. The formulation includes high-UV absorbers and heat stabilizers to withstand intense solar radiation. The material maintains dimensional stability at temperatures up to 80 C. For tropical regions with heavy rainfall, ensure proper slope (2% minimum) and drainage design to prevent ponding, which can accelerate degradation.
How does the membrane perform in coastal environments?
The membrane is resistant to salt spray and marine atmosphere. However, in coastal areas with high humidity and salt deposition, increase the frequency of cleaning (every 3-4 months) to remove salt accumulation. Stainless steel fasteners are recommended for all mechanical attachments in coastal zones.
